Tell Lloyd’s Marketplace to stop insuring Trans Mountain

Trans Mountain must secure insurance for its dirty tar sands pipeline, or it cannot continue. Making the pipeline un-insurable is a critical way to stop the project in its tracks.

The Trans Mountain pipeline and tanker project is currently being pushed ahead in violation of Indigenous rights, and represents a global climate catastrophe.

We know our insurance campaign is working because Trans Mountain admitted publicly that pressure from our movement is the reason why its insurance options are dwindling.

The Lloyd’s Marketplace is one of the pipeline’s top remaining insurers – and it represents dozens of smaller subsidiary companies. These companies have so far fallen under the radar, but with a bit of public pressure, they could be convinced to drop the pipeline.

Will you take one minute to send a direct message to key targets in the Lloyd’s marketplace and tell them to abandon this pipeline once and for all?
