Protect Angelenos from oil and gas pollution

Share good news. Ignite change.

Oil and gas rigs are a common sight throughout Los Angeles, sometimes just feet away from schools, playgrounds, homes, and hospitals. And overwhelmingly, they’re located in BIPOC and low income communities – contributing to higher than average rates of cancer, early death, asthma, and more. That’s unacceptable.

Right now, LA County is accepting comments about the future of oil and gas production within the county and we have a chance to ensure that it implements policies that protect all Angelenos, not just those in affluent communities.

Will you take a minute to send an e-comment to LA County Supervisors and the LA County Department of Regional Planning urging them to protect Los Angeles communities from oil and gas activities?
