Here in Skagit County we usually have an enormous Tulip festival, but it has been cancelled this year because of how the virus is spreading. However, this did not stop all the people with the tulips from spreading some cheer. When I came to work this morning, I discovered that dozens of bouquets of tulips had been donated for the residents at our assisted living facility and to the hospitals around our county. You should have seen the looks on all of their faces! They were so happy to know someone was thinking of them and to have something beautiful for their rooms.
