The 5MW solar plant will require 13,500 solar panels, which will be built across 40,000 square meters of water. It is expected to commence in July.

Arabs were trading the highly valued coco de mer nuts, found only in Seychelles, long before European discovery of the islands. This suggests they were among the first humans to visit the island.
The early history of Seychelles is unknown. Malays from Borneo, who eventually settled on Madagascar, perhaps lingered here circa 200-300 AD.
