PURPOSE

To kindle humanity’s evolution toward peace, justice, and harmony with Earth

WHAT IS KINDLING?

Kindling is a 501(c)(3) non-profit online magazine and newsletter for humanity’s evolution.

We foster social change by educating the public about historical and current progress toward peace, justice, and sustainability and possibilities for our “next systems.”

Hi, I’m Peter. I created Kindling in 2016 to shine a light on new ideas and possibilities for humanity’s future, illustrate what we’ve accomplished as a species, and ultimately motivate action toward a new way of doing and being. I hope it sparks something for you!

During the day, I work for the Pacific Institute encouraging more sustainable water management among businesses around the world. I have a B.A. and a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a M.B.A. in Sustainable Systems from Presidio Graduate School (formerly Pinchot University). I live in Bellingham, WA with my partner Sara, son Owen, and cat Winnie.
