About Danny

Danny Lampton is a musician, writer & responsible entrepreneur. His band + business, The Light & The Weight, is his vessel.

An experienced facilitator and leader in conscious communication, creativity and innovation, Danny draws on a wide range of holistic disciplines including Jungian and social psychology, Gestalt therapy, systems thinking, regenerative design, ancient philosophy, astrology, sacred geometry, and good ‘ol western sciences.

Danny’s work is founded on the belief that all Earthly dilemmas exist in paradox—and that our responsibility at this pivotal point in human evolution is to navigate the relativity of nature and the human condition not by righteousness but with our compass pointed toward curiosity and compassion. His litmus test for communication and action can be framed by the question, “Does it lead with love?”

Prior to earning his MBA in Sustainable Systems from what is nowPresidio Graduate School (PGS), Danny worked in communications at the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) and then at the Northwest Earth Institute in Portland, OR. In between those experiences he focused on music production while bartending at Ada St. in Chicago. Now based in Portland, OR, Danny is also an impact investor and an evangelist for Change Finance—shifting capital flows from harm to healing and investing in service to life and in Shit That Matters.

Danny is an Enneagram Type 4, a Uranian Power Alien Construct, has a stellium in Leo/Third House of Communication, is a Leo Sun, Gemini Rising, Taurus Moon and North Node in Aries. ????
